Built In Wine Cooler

If you are looking to purchase a built in wine cooler then you must be very serious about your wine. I took the liberties to do some research on some built in wine coolers by visiting several online retailers and reading reviews and opinions of customers that have purchased a built in wine cooler themselves.

Below you can read my findings after doing my research:

Danby Built-In Wine Cooler Model DWC276BLS:

After looking at several online retailers and reading what their customers had to say about this built in wine cooler it became very clear that this particular model was a good one.

A lot of the customers are very please at the fact that it can hold 27 bottles of wine, some was happy that this model could fit underneath their counter, others was pleased with the look and mostly all of them said that they did not have any problems with this machine.

My recommendation: If you are willing to spend at least $620-$740 and is in need of a built in wine cooler that can hold up to 27 bottles of wine then this one deserves to be on your short list of possible prospects. Also, you might be interested in taking a look at the Danby Silhouette wine cooler. This danby wine cooler is one of my top picks.

On the other hand if you are just a casual drinker that does not need or have the room for such a big fridge then you might be better off with a smaller free standing, countertop or under counter wine cooler.

Note: I picked this Danby model over the one that I own because this one has a third party review/feedback from a satisfied customer while the one I like does not. So all in all there are three danby built in wine cooler I suggest that you take a look at.

Avanti WC1500DSS 30-Bottle Built-in Wine Cooler:

This one had some bad reviews from customers’ mainly about customer service but I decided to include it here because there are several customers who gave it positive reviews. The main advantage this machine has over the Danby DWC276BLS is that it holds 30 bottles instead of 27 bottles. The prices are about the same and customers of both machines were pleased with the look and style.

My recommendation: If you are looking for a built in wine cooler that has a 30 bottle capacity then take a closer look at this one but if not go with the Danby DWC276BLS built in cooler instead. Also please keep in mind that customers are not very happy with the customer service that is provided by Avanti.

Vinotemp VT-32 32-Bottle Built-in Wine Refrigerator:

If you are on a budget then the Vinotemp VT-32 might be what you are looking for. This wine cooler hold 32 bottles of wine yet cost about $200 less than the other two brands above. But do not let the price fool you as the reviews that I have read are mostly positive. I would highly recommend this cooler for the price conscious consumer but if I price is not an issue go with the Danby as it is a mid range unit as this is a lower end unit. You can find this cooler online for about $400-$450.

Of course you can do your own research but a good start would be to take a look at the models above and compare them to what you find. If you think there is an affordable built in wine cooler that deserves to be here just send me an email and I will take a look.

Final Verdict: If you want a nice wine cooler that has that classy and high quality feel to it then choose the Danby wine cooler if price is more of an issue and you do not mind the cheaper feeling of the Vinotemp that that would be a better choice for a built in wine cooler.
